We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UPS Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, and performance of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems across our facilities or client sites. This role involves managing a team of engineers or technicians, ensuring system reliability, coordinating preventive maintenance schedules, and responding to power-related emergencies.
- Reporting to Department Manager for the fulfillment of maintenance contract requirements.
- Maintaining good relationships with vendors and customers for maintenance contracts.
- Managing a team of field engineers to ensure smooth operations.
- Planning and optimizing resources to carry out preventive maintenance of UPS systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Planning and optimizing resources to execute corrective maintenance when necessary to resolve system faults or alarms.
The ideal candidate will possess sound knowledge of safety requirements for power system maintenance and be able to respond to short notice and work irregular hours to meet ad-hoc job assignments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in handling DC Charger/Zonal/UPS system.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Good communication skills.
- Sound network and good technical knowledge in the Power System industry.
Benefits:
- Mon – Fri: 8am – 5.30pm working hours.
Others:
- Contract duration: 1 year renewable.
- Location: Tuas and various mainland/Island sites assigned (Shuttle service provided from Joo Koon MRT station).
