Senior Language Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Language Educator to join our institution. As a key member of our educational team, you will be responsible for teaching English to primary and secondary level international school students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our centre's vision and mission
  • Update teaching materials and practice questions to meet the needs of our students
  • Teach English to primary and secondary level international school students in a dynamic and supportive learning environment
  • Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student academic performance and progress
  • Promote a safe and healthy classroom environment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree from a relevant field
  • Experience in teaching students at primary or secondary level
  • Demonstrate a passion for teaching and the ability to motivate students
  • Deliver lessons in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Confident in handling small class sizes of up to 6 students at one time
  • Familiarity with the Singapore education system and exams (AEIS, PSLE, O-Level, A-Level etc.) is essential
  • Familiarity with the international school education system and exams is an added advantage
  • Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin to handle queries from Mandarin-speaking parents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teachers
  • Able to work on weekends
