Fire Hydrant Installation Specialist

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Resident Technical Officer to oversee the installation of fire hydrant chambers and pipes at our facilities.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all installations are conducted in accordance with approved earthquake resistance Kubota Pipes, as well as applicable local codes, regulations, and standards. This includes supervision and coordination of excavation and trenching operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Quality Assurance: Inspect and monitor the quality of workmanship on site to ensure compliance with contractual specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Design Review: Check all drawings and contract specifications, including authority submission drawings and shop drawings, to ensure accuracy and adherence to approved methods.
Applicants should possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and have at least 5 years of experience as a Resident Technical Officer on local projects. They must also be registered with IES/ACES and have knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Additional Requirements:- Able to commit to night shifts and overtime as required.
- Experience in supervising Changi Airport Runway Projects is preferred.
- Ability to ensure Airport Operational and Safety Requirements, as well as Regulations and Standards for runways, taxiways, military taxiways, and airport emergency services.
