We are seeking an experienced Luxury Hygiene Operations Director to join our team at one of our properties in Singapore. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the hotel, including food safety and environmental health.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in implementing and maintaining robust hygiene protocols, with expertise in risk assessment, compliance, monitoring, and verification. They will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across various departments.

We offer a competitive salary package of SGD 90,000 - SGD 120,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessment and Advisory: Collaborate with F&B and Housekeeping teams to identify hygiene-related risks within hotel operations and provide strategic advice on resource allocation to address high-risk areas.
  • Compliance and Action Plans: Implement and enforce action plans to ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety legislation, aligning with hotel hygiene and food safety objectives.
  • Monitoring and Verification: Support management in verifying adherence to hygiene and food safety practices, policies, and procedures, and continuously monitor and update the Food Safety Management System.
  • Regulatory Inspection: Facilitate hotel visits from local government officials or other organizations related to food safety, hygiene, and pest control.
  • Review and Documentation: Ensure effectiveness of HACCP/Food Safety Management System documentation and procedures, conduct and host monthly HACCP meetings, and maintain meeting minutes.
  • Follow-up Actions: Verify and review follow-up actions by various departments to ensure alignment with recommendations from internal audits, third-party audits, and inspections by government officials.
  • Training: Conduct and coordinate hygiene and food safety briefings and training sessions for new joiners and current employees, and liaise with external trainers for relevant training programs.
  • Safety Committee Support: Actively support the Safety Committee and Lost Workday Case (LWC) Committee.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or equivalent experience in Hygiene & Food Safety.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of related experience in a similar capacity in the related position with Four Seasons or other food and beverage organizations, preferably in a luxury brand.
  • Familiarity with all hygiene-related legislation in Singapore and experience working closely with relevant government authorities.
  • Experience in establishing and implementing Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), HACCP, and ISO 22000.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to adapt well in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule & Hours:

This position requires the incumbent to work from Mondays to Fridays, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, subjecting to work exigencies.
