This position is an integral part of our housekeeping team, requiring attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to deliver prompt and professional housekeeping services. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to guest requests, managing laundry and uniform inventory, maintaining linen and pantry supplies, and supporting all assigned tasks according to established quality standards and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Recycling and enforcing cost-saving measures to staff
  • Liaising with Housekeeping Supervisor in relation to problems or rectification suggestions
  • Contributing to Housekeeping Departmental Meetings
  • Addressing guests' service needs in a professional, positive and timely manner
  • Attending and delivering to hotel guests' requests
  • Ensuring proper recording of daily guest loan items list & runner job list
  • Ensuring that linens and pantry are stocked up
  • Handling guest laundry pick-up and delivery requests efficiently
  • Managing uniform inventory
  • Performing uniform count before sending out for washing and recount after receiving back from laundry company
  • Assisting all assigned duties in Housekeeping
Accountability

Under the general direction of the Housekeeping Manager and within the limits of established InterContinental Hotels Group brand policies and procedures, responsible for cleaning and maintain the cleanliness of the public area.

You will also help to create a desired work culture around our Winning Ways of the InterContinental Hotels Group and embrace the IHG Commitment.

Qualifications and Requirements

High School or Vocational Certificate in Hotel Administration, Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping or equivalent, with 1 year's experience in guest/customer service, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Able to read and write English.

Candidates must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
