Ridge View Residential College is a vibrant community that offers a unique living-and-learning experience to around 650 students from the National University of Singapore.

The college has a strong focus on sustainability and workplace readiness, with a mission to cultivate students who are intellectually curious, socially responsible, and environmentally conscious.

We are seeking up to two committed individuals to join our team of educators. As an educator at RVRC, you will be expected to teach interdisciplinary courses, contribute to curriculum design and development, and engage in out-of-classroom learning activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Course Design and Delivery: Design and teach academic courses that promote interdisciplinary learning, with a focus on sustainable development, environmental sustainability, and workplace readiness.
  • Student Engagement: Engage students in out-of-classroom learning activities, including outdoor learning and project-based learning.
  • Mentorship: Mentor students in formal and informal learning settings, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
  • Initiatives and Programs: Support the college's mission by participating in living-and-learning initiatives, leading workshops and seminars, and contributing to the development of new programs and services.
Required Qualifications:
  • A PhD or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Experience teaching at the tertiary level, with a proven track record of designing and delivering effective educational programs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Passion for student learning and development, with a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
