Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to lead our logistics and supply chain efforts.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, as well as excellent leadership and team management skills.

About the Role

This key position is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of supply chain activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

  • The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes.
  • Additionally, they will manage relationships with suppliers, factories, and customers to ensure reliable and cost-effective transportation of goods.
  • Responsibilities include tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • The Supply Chain Operations Manager will also supervise and mentor logistics staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • They will be responsible for developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for export and import activities.
  • Furthermore, they will ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • The role involves leading container forecasting, booking, and coordinating shipments for import/export.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Proven track record of improving supply chain efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
