Commodity Documentation Analyst Role

At SKILLSFORCE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY PTE LTD, we are seeking a highly skilled Commodity Documentation Analyst to join our Commodities Documentation team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in trade support and documentation, with a strong understanding of derivatives and commodities markets. They will be responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships with various teams, ensuring timely resolution of complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage real-time trade booking exceptions internally between the Trading and Sales desk
  • Coordinate with external clients and internal teams for timely execution on economic affirmations, legal confirmations, and trade settlements
  • Monitor operational risk throughout the trade processing lifecycle
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure full compliance with financial regulatory reforms, internal risk management protocols, and industry-wide market practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and creative approach with high attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly collaborative and team-focused with ability to interact effectively with a wide range of individuals
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills along with the ability to use discretion and good judgment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Trade support/documentation experience, ideally within commodities
  • Understanding of derivatives and commodities market knowledge
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience
  • Excellent team player, able to work well inside a group and broadly across an organization
  • Multitask and remain composed in high-pressure environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and sense of urgency in escalating and resolving outstanding issues
