Speech Therapist Opportunity

We are inviting a speech therapist to join our team at Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore. The caseload will comprise mainly adult patients from varied disciplines.

This role offers the opportunity to work in different settings, including acute wards, tertiary rehabilitation, slow-stream rehabilitation, and in the community. Our department runs weekly videofluoroscopy and FEES clinics and is actively involved in research and teaching.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality services to patients with communication disorders.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Assess and manage patient's swallowing function using videofluoroscopy and FEES.
  • Develop and lead education sessions for patients, carers, and healthcare staff.
  • Contribute to research and publications related to speech therapy and swallowing disorders.
Requirements
  • Degree in Speech Therapy recognised by Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
  • Strong commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Ability to work well inter-professionally.
  • Adult experience and expertise in dysphagia are highly desirable.
