High Performance Software Specialist

As a High Performance Software Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-frequency trading platforms. You will collect quotes and trades from exchanges around the world and disseminate orders to these exchanges. Your goal will be to minimize latency using advanced techniques such as network and systems programming.
Responsibilities:
You will design, implement, and optimize high-frequency trading platforms. This includes collecting quotes and trades from and disseminating orders to exchanges around the world. You will also develop systems that provide easy access to historical market data and trading simulations. Additionally, you will create tools to analyze data for patterns and build risk-management and performance-tracking tools.
Qualifications:
You must have a degree in computer science or a related field. At least 5+ years of experience with C++ development is required, preferably in a trading environment. A strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++ is essential. Brilliant problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are also necessary. Strong communication skills in English for business purposes are required. Knowledge of Linux operating system and Networking (TCP/IP and UDP) is a plus. Good understanding of Python and shell scripts is also a plus.
