Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Consultant to join our sales team. As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for presenting the value of our products to various audiences, contributing to revenue growth, and providing product expertise and solution blueprints.
Key Responsibilities
- Present the value of our products to C-level executives, end-users, and all levels in between
- Contribute to the sales team in driving revenue growth
- Answer requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs) at a detailed and professional level
- Prepare and deliver solution-based product presentations and demonstrations to customers
- Provide product expertise and solution blueprints
- Work closely with the Sales Director to close deals, supporting the team through the full sales process of solutions engineering and presentation, standard and/or customized solutions demonstration, customer workshop, development of proposals and costings (e.g RFP tender submission), and work with the sales team to address RFI/RFP-related queries from customers
- Understand the business and operational goals the prospect has and recommend a solution that ensures the optimum usage and utilization of our products and services; this can include a full pre-sales lifecycle from RFI response/requirement analysis to running a scoping exercise or engage in a prototype/proof of concept for agreed requirements
- Having a detailed knowledge of the functionality and technology of our product range
- Pro-active in attending to clients' needs, responding to customers' feedback, and requests promptly
- Continuous learning and improvement
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Provide weekly report on the status of opportunities to the Sales Director
Requirements
- Diploma or higher in computer science or relevant field
- 3 years of experience in IT sales
- Knowledge of BPM, RPA, and OCR is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to present to an audience from C-Level to End User, clearly articulate the value our products will bring to an organization, gain trusted advisor respect, help influence, make well-executed systems presentations, and clearly articulate the products' value
- Must have the willingness to learn our products and stay up to date with fast-paced changes
- Must be open, flexible, and creative in regard to time management and scheduling
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
- Ability to elicit business requirements from clients
- Great understanding of software design and programming principles
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Must be service-oriented, able to build rapport with customers, and willing to go the extra mile
- Resourceful and adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products
- Strong time management skills and able to complete tasks on schedule
