Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ID Verification Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying customer identities through the review of documents, conducting research, and utilizing KYC tools and databases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify customer identities by reviewing identification documents and conducting thorough background checks.
  • Conduct due diligence checks to assess risk levels and identify potential suspicious activities.
  • Analyze and validate customer-provided documents to confirm authenticity.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of customer information and due diligence for auditing purposes.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • At least 4-5 years of operational experience in ID verification and anti-money laundering (AML).
  • ACAMS certification is an asset.
  • Experience in ID verification, onboarding, remediation, and AML is required.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and process development skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
