Expert Financial Trader

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equity Trader to join our team.
This role is responsible for executing trades on behalf of our Portfolio Managers, maintaining awareness of regional market developments, and identifying trading opportunities. Additionally, the Equity Trader will provide market color and flows to the trading desk and Portfolio Managers on specific stock or index price movements throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain awareness of regional market developments and identify trading opportunities.
- Provide market color and flows to the trading desk and Portfolio Managers on specific stock or index price movements throughout the day.
- Collaborate with operations, compliance, technology, and portfolio finance teams to handle trading-related tasks that facilitate book-keeping and audit trails.
- Develop and implement tools to streamline trading processes using Excel and Python programming languages.
- Support Asia Trading team in monitoring and executing equities trades.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or a technical field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or Engineering from a reputable university.
- At least 3 years of experience in an equity trader/trade assistant function from the buy-side or sell-side.
- Relevant coding skills and knowledge of using AI-related applications in Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
