Job Summary

The Management Corporation - Strata Title Plan No. 1166 is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building's mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilities Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks on building facilities, including air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
  • Supervision of Contractors: Assist in supervising maintenance and servicing works carried out by contractors and sub-contractors, including landscape, pest control, and cleaning services.
  • Resident Support: Respond to resident feedback and perform handyman and breakdown maintenance works, including electrical, sanitary, and plumbing repairs.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with other duties assigned by the direct supervisor, including administrative tasks and reporting.
  • Working Hours: Work a 5.5-day week with alternate Saturdays off, subject to confirmation.
  • Performance Incentives: Eligible staff will receive AWS and performance bonuses.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in facilities management and maintenance, preferably in a building or property management context.
  • Qualifications: Higher NITEC or NITEC in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in building servicing and maintenance.
  • Equivalent Qualifications: Recognized technical certificates in Mechanical & Electrical, Building Services, Facilities Technology, ACMV, or equivalent.
  • Skills: Good knowledge of building, mechanical, and electrical systems, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Proactive, self-driven, and able to interact with people and work as part of a team.
