Senior Health and Safety Expert Role:
This exciting opportunity is available for a professional with a strong background in health, safety, and environment to contribute to our commitment to safety excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inductions and training sessions for new staff and contractors, ensuring they are equipped to perform their roles safely and effectively.
- Organize monthly toolbox briefings and committee meetings to discuss important health, safety, and environment issues.
- Communicate information on updates, incidents, and new initiatives through various channels.
- Assist in identifying workplace risks and recommend control measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain up-to-date project risk assessments, EAI, and risk registers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and investigate near-miss incidents, accidents, and dangerous occurrences to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement effective HSE measures and safe work procedures to minimize risks and promote a healthy work environment.
- Manage high-risk activities and Permit-To-Work systems to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Promote accurate HSE documentation and records to support informed decision-making.
Requirements:
- Hold a WSH level B qualification or higher.
- Have a minimum of 2 years' relevant HSE experience, preferably in facility management and construction.
- Be certified in BizSAFE Level 2 and Managing Work-At-Height qualifications.
- Be proactive, independent, and able to work under pressure.
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative and integrity.
