Early Childhood Educator

At Busy Bees Nurseries, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Infant Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting the learning and growth of infants and toddlers through interactive and enriching experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and support the learning and development needs of children from birth to age 3

Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate teaching, learning, and caregiving approaches aligned to curriculum frameworks

Assist in observation and documentation of children's learning and development

Assist in integrating respectfulness, responsiveness, and reciprocity within the curriculum

Assist in setting up quality learning environments that promote children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development

Display sensitivity to each child's needs through respectful, responsive, and reciprocal interactions and relationships with children

Support children's development of secure attachments through warm, consistent, and nurturing caregiving

Adhere to health, safety, nutritional, and hygiene standards and procedures

Facilitate the continuity of care and education between the home and centre

Engage in partnerships and collaborations with community stakeholders and engage in continuous learning and reflective practice

Perform any other projects and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

Certificate in Infant/Toddler Care and Development (CIT) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) / Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)

Candidates who are currently undergoing HCIC/ACEY are welcome to apply too

Prioritize health, safety, and hygiene concerns

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications would be an added advantage

Good written and verbal communication skills

Good interpersonal skills such as being able to relate and interact with fellow colleagues, parents, and children
