**About the Role**
We are seeking a skilled Data Center Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a critical member of our infrastructure services team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of maintenance professionals responsible for the upkeep and repair of electrical and mechanical systems within our facilities. This includes but is not limited to chillers, air handling units, ACMV, pumps, leak detection systems, roller shutters, power distribution boards, UPS and batteries systems, and generators.
To be successful in this position, you will need to have a solid understanding of preventative maintenance practices and be able to effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead a team to plan and perform preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Develop site-specific documents, including maintenance checklists, emergency operating procedures, standard operating procedures, and request for action.
- Prepare service reports for preventative and breakdown maintenance works.
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure all works are carried out safely and/or in accordance with established standards, procedures, and local legislation.
