Job Overview

Our organization seeks a highly skilled professional to join its team as a Document Formatting Specialist. This role is integral to the Global Document Services team and plays a vital part in delivering high-quality work and service to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Convert, format, and automate legal documents using MS Office and other core applications.
  • Complete various projects in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including conversions, formatting, styling, and applying automatic numbering.
  • Utilize Acrobat Professional to compress PDF files, create searchable and non-searchable PDFs, apply Bates numbering, and crop pages as needed.
  • Proofread documents when necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of applications used in a legal word processing environment, such as MS Office Suite, Acrobat, iManage, OmniPage, ABBYY FineReader, and Visio. Additionally, they should be able to learn new software and procedures, demonstrate professional interpersonal skills, and have related experience working as a document specialist at a professional services organization.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of document formatting and automation principles.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Related experience working as a document specialist in a professional services organization.
