Job Overview

The Internal Audit Department is an independent assurance function that evaluates the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal controls. As a Compliance and Advisory Activities Auditor, you will support the Grant Audit Management team in grant compliance and process audits.

You will conduct audits on grant recipients to ensure compliance with funding terms and conditions and identify discrepancies or irregularities in grant usage. Additionally, you will evaluate internal controls and processes to strengthen financial governance and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting audits to ensure grant recipient compliance
  • Evaluating internal controls and processes for financial governance
  • Reviewing financial reports and documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Preparing detailed audit reports and presenting findings

Candidates should possess relevant work experience in internal/external audit, proficiency in technology, strong communication and partnership skills, adaptability, and policy acumen. Knowledge of grant regulations, compliance requirements, internal control frameworks, and risk management would be advantageous.
