Job Title: Production Operations Specialist

Description:

The Production Operations Specialist is a key member of the production team, responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth execution of daily operations to meet production schedules.

They analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement, then implement Lean methodologies such as 5S and Kaizen to enhance productivity. Their role involves troubleshooting technical issues with automation systems and production equipment, collaborating with design, quality, and maintenance teams to improve workflows and resolve non-conformances.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure adherence to production schedules.
  • Analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement change.
  • Develop and implement standardized work procedures and manufacturing best practices.
  • Identify and reduce downtime and inefficiencies in the production line.
  • Collaborate with Process Engineers to establish root cause analysis for recurring production failures.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Quality teams to address deviations and rework processes.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of production equipment and tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).
  • 3+ years of experience in production or manufacturing engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement projects.
  • Understanding of safety and quality standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive mindset.
