Technical SharePoint Specialist

The position of Technical SharePoint Specialist exists to provide end-to-end lifecycle management for Microsoft SharePoint systems. This includes analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

This role requires a proactive and technically strong individual who can support the campus community through various means, including helpdesk operations, system enhancements, issue resolution, and collaboration with other developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain the Microsoft SharePoint system for the campus community.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support through helpdesk ticketing systems.
  • Implement system enhancements and contribute to new SharePoint project development initiatives.
  • Perform ongoing support and maintenance, including bug fixing and resolution of vulnerability issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for program changes and testing procedures.
  • Submit monthly progress reports detailing work activities and accomplishments.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal development teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Independent worker with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates a positive and proactive work attitude.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SharePoint application development and/or maintenance.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with SharePoint Online (SPO), including customization using Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Power Platform development and integrations (Power Apps, Power Automate) with SharePoint Online.

SharePoint System Management

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Microsoft SharePoint system, ensuring its smooth operation and effective use by the campus community. This involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining the system, as well as providing technical assistance and troubleshooting support through helpdesk ticketing systems.

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, including its features, functions, and integration with other systems.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online (SPO) and its customization using Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Power Platform development and integrations (Power Apps, Power Automate) with SharePoint Online.
  • Ability to analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain complex software systems.
