The primary objective of this position is to deliver high-quality educational programs and training initiatives. The goal is to develop strategic partnerships with eye care professionals, thereby enhancing patients' retail experience.
- Develop and deliver quality education and training programs for eye care professionals.
- Conduct lectures, workshops, and training sessions on Hoya's ophthalmic lenses and measuring equipment.
- Provide communication skills training for Optometrists, Opticians, and Front-of-House team members.
- Monitor the effectiveness and sustainability of training programs.
- Deliver training on a periodic basis to various groups of eye care professionals.
- Work closely with institutes and associations to organize and deliver Continuing Professional Education programs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry movements and activities, and provide market intelligence reports.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Team to promote Hoya Vision Care products.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
- Diploma or Bachelor in Optometry.
Experience:
- Preferred 2 years of relevant working experience in retail optical settings.
Skills:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Behavioral Attributes:
- Keen interest in the technical aspects of ophthalmic lenses.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
