About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Product Manager to join our Technology Group. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining product vision and technology strategic objectives, defining product roadmaps, prioritizing features, and driving best practices for new improvements and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define product vision and technology strategic objectives
  • Define product roadmap, which outlines features and functionality that will be developed over time
  • Prioritize features based on business goals and technical feasibility
  • Drive best practices for new improvements and maintenance, ensure the highest quality and standards are applied
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, technology leads, software development teams, and designers in crafting product vision, roadmap, prioritization of initiatives and features
  • Ensure dynamic, incremental, and continuous delivery of the product that brings value to the business in an agile and sustainable manner
  • Collaborate with peer teams within GIC on multidiscipline projects and front-office and back-office initiatives
  • Interact with financial institutions, international banks, and brokers, vendors, and solution providers for new business requirements/initiatives

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in the financial industry is required, preferably with a focus on Securities Financing/Treasury business, and with financial market knowledge in Equity, Futures, and Options, FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and OTC products, Regulations, and Compliance
  • Strong background in product development, with experience in defining and driving the development of a software product. The candidate should have a proven track record of working with business and technology teams to develop software as a product
  • Good understanding of design principles and user experience (UX) design, as well as the ability to work effectively with designers
  • Well-versed in Agile software development methodologies, with hands-on experience in working as part of highly effective Agile software development teams using Scrum, Kanban, or other agile frameworks
  • Hands-on experience in conducting business analysis functions, stakeholder management, solution designing, and software test planning. Experience in vendor management and production support of front-office trading applications is a plus
  • Ability to strive in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment, communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technology leads, software developers, and IT subject matter experts
  • Hands-on experience in a front-office business role and/or as a Software Engineer will be a plus
