Job Title: Freight Logistics Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized freight logistics coordinator to join our team. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

The successful candidate will serve as the main point of contact for freight bookings, tracking, and general inquiries. Building strong relationships with clients through timely updates and proactive communication is key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer engagement and support by serving as the main point of contact for freight bookings, tracking, and general inquiries.
  • Build strong relationships with clients by providing timely updates and proactive communication.
  • Coordinate shipments with operations teams, vendors, and carriers to ensure on-time pickup, transit, and delivery.
  • Monitor shipments and provide real-time status updates.
  • Handle customer concerns professionally, aiming for swift and effective resolution.
  • Prepare, review, and manage documents such as bills of lading.
  • Ensure all shipping documents comply with customs and regulatory requirements.
  • Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist the sales team with client follow-ups, rate quotations, and post-booking coordination.
  • Maintain accurate customer and shipment records for operational and audit purposes.
  • Suggest and support continuous improvement efforts across customer experience and operations.

Requirements:

  • Diploma, degree, or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years in freight forwarding, logistics, or customer service, preferably in airfreight.
  • Strong knowledge of freight documentation and customs regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with billing and invoicing systems.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office; freight software experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under pressure.
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for customer service.
