Job Title: Azure Cloud Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Specialist to join our team at MyCareersFuture. As a key member of our cloud operations team, you will be responsible for providing security architecture support for build, migration, and operation of Azure cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and evaluate emerging cloud technologies to identify areas where they can bring business value.
  • Develop aspects of the cloud migration initiative, including its impact on infrastructure, networks, and security.
  • Define standards and best practices for cloud technologies leveraged by the development organization and engineering teams.
  • Provide expertise and serve as a subject matter expert regarding Cloud for both infrastructure and applications in Microsoft Azure.
  • Work with application teams to achieve exceptional results and retain maximum associate satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the IT Security Team, Solution Architects, and Security Operations teams on security-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of continuous enhancement for a robust knowledge management system for the Cloud Operations team.
  • Establish a continuous improvement plan for Cloud Operations, including technology reviews, root cause analysis, and cloud portfolio review.
  • Conceptualize, present, and execute ideas within a tight schedule, with a focus on serving as a technical lead on development projects.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills, including supervising teams, encouraging improvement and innovation, and coaching associates on various deployment models of Cloud.
  • Develop Cloud strategy and communicate effectively with all levels of IT audiences and management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related analytical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of deploying and supporting cloud services in a large-scale environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more cloud providers.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience writing in a scripting language that implemented a deployment to the cloud or supported a cloud workload.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with relational SQL databases and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Practical knowledge of web application security.
  • Interest in learning new technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to work with different teams and prioritize tasks.
  • Able to work independently with integrity under minimal supervision and effectively within a team.

Desirable Skills:

  • Microsoft Azure Cloud Administration.
  • Systems Administration for Windows / Azure Active Directory.
  • Knowledge in migration to Azure Cloud.
  • Knowledge in DevSecOps and Agile practice.
