Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for data centres, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and efficiency standards.
  • Specify and select mechanical equipment, such as chillers, air handlers, and other HVAC components, to meet data centre requirements and standards.
  • Evaluate technical submissions from vendors and consultants to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the design team to optimize data hall standards and ensure proper cooling and climate control within the data centre environment.
  • Lead and manage project teams, consultants, and vendors to review technical accuracy and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement mechanical engineering solutions aligned with project objectives and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in HVAC design and mission-critical infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their application in data centre environments
  • Proficiency in CAD software and thermal analysis tools, such as CFD simulation
  • Familiarity with industry standards and codes related to data centre design
