Job Title: Legal Counsel
Job DescriptionK2 is seeking to engage a Legal Counsel with relevant experience to support its global business operations. This role is based in Singapore and will involve providing legal support and assessing legal risk in respect of a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters, projects, and regulatory compliance issues.
The successful candidate will draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation such as customer colocation service agreements, construction-related contracts, joint venture agreements, leases, project financing documentation, security agreements, consultancy agreements, and other commercial contracts.
They will also engage with external lawyers where required, manage associated legal expenditure, formulate process-oriented improvements, and oversee the implementation of critical compliance policies and procedures.
Required Skills and QualificationsPreferably at least 4 to 10 years' post-qualification experience within the technology, data centre, telecommunications, real estate, and construction industry or sector, from a top-tier law firm or corporate in-house legal department.
Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, and proactive and progressive in self-development are essential skills for this role.
