Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in the maintenance and support of our client's mission-critical data centers.

You will be responsible for installing, testing, implementing, and configuring systems in accordance with specifications and service level requirements. This includes ensuring compliance with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, implement, and configure systems (include Operating Systems and Application Software) in accordance with specifications and service level requirements.
  • Perform basic administration and ensure system performance and security.
  • Manage systems changes using an established change request process.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for system issues and proactively implement measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide expert technical advice and guidance on systems to customers, project teams, and Level 1 Engineers.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of networking technologies (OSI network layers, TCP/IP), structured and organized approach, and strong communication skills. They should also possess strong sense of ownership and tenacity, initiative and disposition with a strong commitment and orientation towards results and high-quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in IT or Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience in implementing engineering/infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
  • Structured and organized approach.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.
