Project Engineering Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced project engineer to lead our team in driving engineering excellence. As a senior project development manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development of detailed design documents and ensuring seamless integration of gas, chemical, and water waste systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and review comprehensive engineering calculations for equipment sizing, material selection, and system design, guaranteeing accuracy and precision.
  • Lead the development of detailed design documents, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and system layouts, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
  • Oversight and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of gas, chemical, and water waste systems into overall project designs, promoting effective collaboration and communication.
  • Evaluate innovative technologies and engineering solutions to enhance system performance and efficiency, fostering continuous improvement and growth.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, guaranteeing high-quality design and implementation, and contributing to the professional development of the team.
  • Manage project timelines, stakeholder communication, and collaborate with procurement and vendors to assess equipment specifications, cost analysis, and supplier qualifications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, providing a solid foundation for engineering principles and practices.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering roles related to gas, chemical, or water waste systems, demonstrating expertise and maturity in the field.
  • Strong expertise in engineering calculations, equipment selection, and detailed design development, showcasing advanced technical knowledge and skills.
  • Experience with process safety management (PSM), risk assessments, and regulatory compliance, highlighting a commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory adherence.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other engineering design software, preferred but not essential, as training can be provided.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and drive results-oriented projects.
