Job Description

The Strategic Data Insights Manager will be responsible for uncovering key insights from complex data sets to inform business strategy and operations. This involves analyzing economic trends, industry developments, and Singapore's competitive position to provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Frame problem statements based on business cases and formulate study design & methodology.
  • Acquire and process data from various sources for analysis using econometric and/or data science techniques.
  • Interpret and draw implications for the organization from the findings.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in a public sector agency or similar organizations.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with ability to draw insights across multiple data sources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to structure and substantiate an argument with logic and empathy.
  • Ability to work adaptively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Academic background in economics/econometrics and/or related disciplines (e.g. business analytics, data science).
