Backend Development Leader

We are seeking a skilled Backend Development Leader to join our growing engineering team.

You will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of backend systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Development: Develop scalable, secure, and reliable backend systems that meet business requirements.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code and continuously improve existing codebases through refactoring.
  • System Optimization: Identify and resolve performance, stability, and scalability issues to enhance overall system efficiency.
  • Process & Mentorship: Improve development processes and provide guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to align on solutions and deliver robust systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computing, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in backend engineering, delivering production-level systems.
  • Tech Stack: Proficient in Java or Go, with experience in Spring Boot, WebFlux, Kafka, Redis, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • System Design: Able to design modular, scalable solutions considering performance, security, and observability.
  • Problem Solving: Skilled at identifying edge cases, managing risk, and improving system quality.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork and feedback.
