Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Temporary Employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data updates and verification on co-operative societies (co-ops) and mutual benefit organisations (MBOs) in the Registry's database.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting assistance to co-ops on the Registry's Portal for co-ops.
  • Conduct basic research on policy reviews for co-ops and MBOs.
  • Compile statistics from co-ops' and MBOs' submissions.
  • Support the basic administration of the Central Co-operative Fund (CCF), including review of grants and disbursements.
  • Provide administrative support to the Registry, including logistical arrangements for engagement sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Clear and concise writing skills.
  • Ability to pay attention to details, and work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Mental resilience when dealing with challenging stakeholders.
  • Ability to be courteous yet firm in upholding the Registry's authority.
Benefits
  • A Diploma in General or Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimally 1-2 years of work experience.
Working Arrangements
  • Monday to Thursday: 9am to 6.30pm.
  • Friday: 9am to 6pm.
  • Contract: 3 months (option to extend to 1 year).
  • Location: 140 Hill Street.
