F&B Operations Director Job Description

About the Role:

This is an opportunity to oversee the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage department, ensuring that all aspects of service meet the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate and inspire a team, and a strong understanding of financial management principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of F&B operations to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Staff performance management, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure employees reach their full potential.
  • Collaboration with senior management to develop strategic plans for business growth and profitability.
  • Maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to health and safety legislation.
  • Cost monitoring and control, achieving budgeted targets and identifying areas for cost reduction.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within the F&B industry.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the business.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles and the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Valid Food Safety Certification.
