Job Overview

Scoot seeks a highly skilled professional to join its team as a Flight Operations Specialist.

This role is responsible for managing and overseeing flight operations, ensuring safe and efficient performance of flights.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee fleet end-to-end operations, from manuals to flight performance data.
  • Ensure accurate and timely update of flight performance data in relevant systems.
  • Lead EOPS initiatives and maintenance activities.
Key Accountabilities
  • Tabulate and provide fuel budget for each sector.
  • Review overflight budget.
  • Allocate budget for upcoming initiatives and fiscal year.
  • Oversight of AOC and FAOC renewals & expiry dates.
CAAS AOC and FAOC Regulatory Applications
  • Prepare and submit for CAAS AOC renewal application.
  • Apply for variation to all FAOCs (New A/C types, New stations, change in management, ops specs).
  • Coordinate with Ground and Engineering pertaining to new station start-up timeline.
Contract Management (Flight Ops)
  • Take lead in understanding business requirements and support with business proposals.
  • Review cost analysis benefits.
  • Contract negotiation with vendors.
Flight Operations Project Management
  • Leads and coordinates with vendors on project and implementation timeline.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Optimize and improve process and the overall approach where necessary.
Flight Ops Data Analytics (Flight Ops Payload, Fuel and Blocktime Study)
  • Lead Fuel Management Study to analyse impact of fuel utilization efficiency.
  • Perform block time analysis for commercial and HR to support business discussion & decisions.
Pre-Ops and Ops Specs Applications
  • Gather flight operations related information for new stations.
  • Complete CAAS pre-ops application form and package for submission.
Regulatory Audits
  • Conduct audits on Flight Ops Vendors to ensure compliance of Scoot's Quality Management System.
Maintenance of Navigation Database
  • Verify and check the NavDB during AIRAC cycles.
