Join a team of dedicated professionals in the aircraft maintenance industry and take on the role of Workshop Technician. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for successfully carrying out a variety of tasks in accordance with aviation regulations and company procedures.

This exciting opportunity involves safely performing aircraft interior removal, installation, and/or fabrication, as well as coordinating with supervisors and inspection to ensure compliance with repair station procedures and quality specifications. You will also assess requirements of assigned tasks to procure required materials and documentation, follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment, and prepare and install aircraft interior items in accordance with company operation procedures and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interiors, including galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, and panels
  • Coordinate with supervisors and inspection to ensure compliance with repair station procedures, sign-offs, and quality specifications
  • Assess requirements of assigned tasks to procure required materials and documentation
  • Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment
  • Prepare and install aircraft interior items in accordance with company operation procedures and quality standards

As a skilled technician, you will have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation, use hand/power tools and equipment associated with installation and removal of interiors, and work effectively as part of a team. This role may require climbing ladders and stairs, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 40 pounds as part of the job's operational duties.

Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of aircraft installation and/or fabrication processes applicable to the specific position
  • Good mechanical aptitude and advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation
  • Ability to use hand/power tools and equipment associated with installation and removal of interiors
