Service Engineer Marine Navigation Systems

We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our team in the marine navigation systems sector. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and commissioning support for marine communication and navigational equipment locally and overseas.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and electronic engineering, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in troubleshooting marine navigation and communication equipment. Experience in radar and ECDIS systems is highly desirable.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician to take ownership of assigned projects or service jobs, ensuring adherence to company standards. You will work independently with minimal supervision, requiring excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide service and commissioning support for marine communication and navigational equipment
- Provide advisory and coordinate work carried out by shipyards or contractors
- Taking ownership and responsibility on assigned projects or service jobs
Requirements:
- Min ITE certificate/Diploma in electrical/electronic engineering
- Minimum 2 years experience in trouble shooting of Marine Navigation and Communication Equipment
- Experience in Radar and Ecdis system will be advantage
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Require to work overtime and travel overseas within short notice
