Job Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Quantitative Strategist to join our External Managers Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating actionable investment insights with quantitative techniques, driving better decisions and accelerating time to insights for the business.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Quantitative Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis using advanced statistical models and techniques to drive informed investment decisions.
  • Research Support: Provide research support to investment teams by analyzing complex data sets and identifying trends.
  • Results Communication: Effectively communicate complex results to stakeholders through clear and concise presentations.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with technology and risk teams to integrate quantitative models into broader business processes.
Key Qualifications:
  • Education: Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics.
  • Experience: Minimally 2 years of experience in a quantitative role within finance.
  • Skills: Proficiency in R or Python, SQL, and strong analytical skills.
  • Understanding: Understanding of credits, structured products, and financing.
  • Personal Qualities: Highly motivated, intellectually curious, and adept at multi-tasking. Independent thinker who can articulate views well both verbally and in writing.
  • Teamwork: Strong team player who is comfortable fostering new internal and external relationships.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with ability to understand, influence, and obtain buy-in from stakeholders effectively.
  • Fund Experience: Funds or funds of funds experience would be an advantage.
