Senior Information Security Manager Job Summary

The position of Senior Information Security Manager is a high-level role that requires expertise in managing technology risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement IT risk management frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure alignment with Head Office and industry standards.
  2. Engage with stakeholders for the conduct of IT Governance committee meetings and provide insights on key risks to senior management.
  3. Collaborate with teams across geographies to resolve IT risk issues and ensure smooth conduct of Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises.
  4. Manage IT Risk Register, track remediation actions, deviations, and risks.
  5. Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing or new IT processes and systems to reduce risks.
  6. Ensure adequate oversight over outsourced IT activities and manage third-party risks.
  7. Work with teams across geographies to foster an IT risk-aware culture and promote proactive mind-sets.
  8. Manage audit end-to-end through collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with 7-10 years of experience in banking sector, including at least 3 years of managerial experience in IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
  • Professional certification in Information Security, preferably CISSP.
  • Strong understanding of information security domains, risk and control assessments, regulatory compliance, secure systems development lifecycle, access controls, vulnerability management, data protection, technology resiliency, and governance metrics.
  • Fair understanding of retail and corporate banking processes and products, desirable with professional certifications in banking domain.

Skills:

  • Industry best practices and frameworks pertaining to IT, IT Risk management methodologies, tools to manage IT risks, endpoint security, network security, encryption and key management, authentication and access control.
  • Regulatory guidelines issued by MAS and RBI for technology risk management.
  • Collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills.
