Cloud Security Strategist

Safeguard cloud environments with expertise in security controls, access management, and policy implementation.

Achieve this by:

  • Developing and enforcing robust security protocols across cloud services to protect data, applications, and endpoints.
  • Conducting regular audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement remediation strategies.
  • Analyzing logs, network data, and pentest results to investigate security incidents.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to embed security within DevOps pipelines and cloud architecture.
  • Implementing security solutions such as GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, Inspector, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms.
  • Guiding teams on secure development practices and cloud configuration best practices.
  • Supporting incident response efforts and providing after-hours assistance as needed.

To succeed, you'll need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in AWS Cloud Security.
  • A strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), OWASP, and cloud security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment, pentesting, and SIEM/IDS tools.
  • Proficiency in IAM, secrets management, and container security.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CISSP, or AWS Security).
