Job Title: Sr. Financial Leadership Role

Description:

The Sr. Manager Finance is a senior-level financial leadership role that oversees a team of 10-15 professionals and manages month-end financial close, US GAAP reporting to corporate, and financial analysis and reports for business stakeholders.

This role involves operational finance, working on transaction models and operation processes, financial planning & forecasting activities (FP&A), working with regional and China sites' finance team, driving and managing finance projects improvements.

The Business supporting includes contract manufacturing business and Supply Chain Centralized Procurement Hub.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads a team of 12-13 based in Penang and Singapore (majority in Penang)
  • Manage financial close and reporting, management accounting, analyze financial and operational results, and highlight areas of concerns for improvement
  • Works closely with regional and China manufacturing sites in financial reporting

Key Requirements:

  • Solid experience in finance and operational processes, driving project improvements and efficiencies
  • Familiarity with accounting regulations, US GAAP, and IFRS
  • Ability to manage a team size more than 5 and grow the team
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to deliver good solutions
  • Good multi-tasking skills, able to manage and coordinate different tasks, and diverse group of stakeholders
  • Have commercial acumen combined with risk awareness
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Good English language skills
  • Possess SAP knowledge
  • TM1 skills and knowledge are preferred
