Drive Real-World Impact through Innovative Research and Development

Job Description:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as a Senior Research Scientist, driving the adoption of Pluto technology through real-world partnerships. You will collaborate with global teams and influence product innovation.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and validate cell-based assays on Pluto, optimizing and troubleshooting flow cytometry, immunoassays, and single-cell genomics workflows.
  • Translate scientific protocols into automation-ready workflows, enabling seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with external partners on joint studies, pilot deployments, and proof-of-concept projects, fostering cross-regional communication and collaboration.
  • Identify workflow gaps and propose new Pluto applications or improvements, driving continuous innovation and improvement.
  • Work closely with R&D, engineering, CX scripting, and commercial teams, providing expertise and mentorship to drive business success.

Qualifications:
  • PhD or MSc in Life Sciences, Immunology, Cell Biology, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Hands-on expertise in flow cytometry sample preparation; experience with immunoassays or single-cell genomics highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with liquid handling automation or laboratory robotics advantageous.
  • Experience in external collaborations (academic or industry) beneficial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English and Mandarin a plus for cross-regional communication.
