Theatre Nurse Specialist

Nurses play a pivotal role in the smooth functioning of an operating theatre. As a Theatre Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the efficient management of surgical procedures, and maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled and experienced Theatre Nurse. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing their time efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting surgeons and anaesthetists during operations
- Preparing and maintaining equipment and instruments
- Care of patients before, during, and after surgery
- Coordinating the surgical schedule and ensuring timely completion of procedures
- Participating in infection control measures and maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Registration with the Singapore Nursing Board
- At least 2 years' experience in healthcare, preferably in an operating theatre setting
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Hours and Benefits
