Job Title: Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at People Profilers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of supplier-delivered parts and materials, and will work closely with suppliers to implement quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Quality Management: Manage the supplier qualification process to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • CMM Programming and Training: Develop and implement CMM programming and training for suppliers to ensure accurate and efficient measurement of parts.
  • Complaint Management: Investigate and resolve supplier-related complaints, including preliminary failure analysis, containment coordination, and disposition coordination with suppliers.
  • Audits and Inspections: Conduct audits and inspections at supplier sites to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Quality Planning: Develop and implement quality plans and instructions for incoming inspections.
  • Calibration Management: Manage the calibration of measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to reduce defects and improve quality.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and other teams to ensure seamless quality management.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier quality engineering, with hands-on experience in CMM programming and smart scope.
  • Skills: Familiarity with advanced GD&T, quality auditing, and calibration standards.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
