Job Title: Reliable Goods Transporter

">Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a transport driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to designated locations in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrive at the office/warehouse as per agreed timing
• Perform daily checks on vehicle condition and ensure it remains clean at all times
• Deliver goods using a pallet jack or carry cartons by hand to stores
• Ensure regular maintenance appointments for the vehicle are attended
• Obey traffic laws and transport goods safely
• Avoid driving when unwell or under the influence of medication that affects driving ability
• Responsible for delivering goods without damage or discrepancies
• Follow best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading/unloading a vehicle
• Wear personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, face mask, and face shield, to avoid close contact with customers and maintain good hygiene
• Park vehicles in authorized areas to prevent traffic violations
• Obtain customer signatures and chop on invoice copies
• Collect cash from customers upon delivery and submit it back to the office the same day

Requirements:

• Secondary education or relevant qualification
• Preferably candidates with 2 years of relevant work experience and a good driving record
• Class 3/4 driving license
• Ability to start work within a short notice period
