Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bus Captain to join our transport operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of passengers, while upholding high standards of service quality.

This is a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations for charter, school, shuttle, and corporate transport services. You will work closely with dispatchers, operations supervisors, and clients to ensure seamless daily operations.

As a Bus Captain, you will be required to operate a 23-seater bus in compliance with Land Transport Authority (LTA) and company regulations. This includes conducting pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and cleanliness, as well as maintaining proper passenger discipline and enforcing company policies.

You will also be responsible for transporting passengers according to scheduled routes, charters, and ad hoc assignments, ensuring punctual pickup and drop-off at designated points. Additionally, you will provide courteous assistance to passengers, including elderly and children, when boarding/alighting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a 23-seater bus in compliance with LTA and company regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and cleanliness.
  • Transport passengers according to scheduled routes, charters, and ad hoc assignments.
  • Ensure punctual pickup and drop-off of passengers at designated points.
  • Maintain proper passenger discipline and enforce company policies.
  • Provide courteous assistance to passengers.
  • Report incidents, accidents, or vehicle defects promptly.
  • Keep accurate trip logs and records when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid Singapore Class 4 Driving Licence.
  • Valid Bus Driver's Vocational Licence (BDVL) issued by LTA.
  • Minimum 2 years' driving experience with medium buses preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore roads and traffic regulations.
  • Physically fit with good eyesight and hearing.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism.
  • Able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays if required.
