Business Continuity Manager Job Description

Job Title: Business Continuity Manager

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Business Continuity Manager to develop and implement business continuity plans, ensuring operational resiliency and availability of services in case of disruptive events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive business continuity framework, including Business Impact Analysis and Business Recovery Plans.
  • Ensure plans align with business requirements, industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues to business operations.
  • Develop risk mitigation and business resiliency strategies.
  • Provide training sessions to stakeholders to raise awareness of business continuity plans.
  • Conduct regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of plans.
  • Provide support to stakeholders for the implementation of business continuity measures or processes resiliency improvements.
  • Active participation to crisis management team during disruptive events, coordinating response and execution of recovery plans.
  • Inform and communicate effectively during crisis situations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of incidents to senior management.

Requirements:

  • In-depth understanding and knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to business continuity.
  • Skill in preparing and delivering reports to senior management related to business continuity initiatives and arising threats.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and stakeholders management.
  • Proficiency in utilizing business continuity planning tools.
