Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Develop and implement piping system designs, taking into account factors such as layout, materials, and stress analysis.
  • Technical Responsibility: Conduct stress/vibration analysis and develop mechanical data for interpreting moment, stress, reaction force, and displacement.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project schedules and budgets.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records of piping system designs, calculations, and test results.
  • Interpretation and Evaluation: Analyze and interpret technical information, reports, and instructions to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in piping engineering, preferably in a similar role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD/Cad Pipe /Microstation 2D CAD; PDS Intergraph and SP3D software, as well as ability to apply mathematical concepts in piping calculations.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to write effective minutes of meetings and other business-related communications.

Salary:

$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
