Aerospace Equipment Specialist Job Summary

As an Aerospace Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing ground equipment to ensure its safe operation. You will work in a dynamic environment with diverse teams and projects.

  • This role requires strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with complex machinery.
  • Experience working with diesel and gasoline engines, electrical/electronic, and hydraulic systems is necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Service, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of Aerospace Ground Equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with teams to achieve project goals.
  • Use diagnostic tools and procedures to identify and resolve equipment faults.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on lift equipment to ensure safe operability.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; technical school or military training preferred.
  • Four years of experience working with a combination of diesel and gasoline engines, electrical/electronic, and hydraulic systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two years of technical school or similar military training.
  • Ability to deploy to Antarctica for extended periods.
