Key Responsibilities:
  • Support a multidisciplinary team in training and assessing residents by coaching them in Residential Living Skills, including:
    • Maintaining household chores, including preparing simple meals
    • Managing their time within the residence and preparing for work
    • Living with others, sharing common spaces, meals, and chores, and considering others' needs
  • Ensure safety and security at all times
  • Provide a safe and homely environment:
    • Co-developing house rules with residents
    • Ensuring residents are accountable for household duties
    • Fostering social interactions and community involvement
Requirements:
  • Minimum GCE 'O' level with 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of autism and skills in housekeeping
  • Good interpersonal and relational skills
  • A passion for working with individuals on the autism spectrum
Benefits:

The role requires working on a shift roster that includes weekends and public holidays, with a stayover at the residence for 3 consecutive days. We offer an attractive shift pattern with up to 8.5 consecutive days off every three weeks.
