Job Title: Construction Equipment Operator

About the Role

Tower crane operators are responsible for ensuring the safe operation of tower cranes on construction sites. They play a crucial role in maintaining site safety and adhering to regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with signal teams to ensure adherence to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, including daily lifting operations
  • Assess ground conditions from height and report any safety concerns to lifting supervisors
  • Conduct pre-work inspections on cranes as per manufacturer guidelines to ensure safe operation and report any malfunctions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate in Tower Crane (Saddle JIB) Operation
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Tower Crane Operator
  • Completion of the Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course
  • Registration as a Tower Crane Operator (MOM licensed)

The ideal candidate should possess strong physical strength and reflexes, allowing them to climb towers up to 80 meters high and work alone in confined spaces for extended periods at great heights.
